PropOne Underwater Light Coating ULC by Prop-One is a two-coat foul release system designed to protect submerged marine components. It combines an anti-corrosive Primer Coat with a Clear Coat foul release layer. The Clear Coat is a non-biocidal, low surface energy coating that reduces the strong adhesion of fouling organisms on surfaces permanently immersed in water. Once the vessel is underway, attached organisms are easily dislodged by mechanical action.

The system does not control fouling by poisoning the environment. Instead, it creates a smooth, low-adhesion surface that facilitates the physical removal of marine growth when the boat is in drive.
