3M™ Masking Tape 244

Masking tape 244 is supplied with a soft yellow paper backing and a 0.085 mm thick synthetic adhesive. This tape is particularly resistant to ultraviolet rays and water. It resists well to high temperatures (100 °C).

This tape can be used for a wide range of applications, especially for applications where UV resistance and clean removal is required and with an optimum temperature of 100 °C for 30 minutes (e.g. marine market).

 

• Designed with a flat paper backing with synthetic adhesive, this tape offers good solvent and water resistance and good anchorage to paint.
• Sunlight stability and adhesive transfer resistance. Good temperature resistance (100 °C).
• Offers a good paint line, good handling, good resistance to paint peeling and removes cleanly.
• Contributes to resisting paint runout.
