What is WHITE POLYESTER NAUTICAL PUTTY and why choose it

WHITE POLYESTER NAUTICAL PUTTY by Kemipol is a super-light polyester filler designed for professional and industrial surface repair. Based on unsaturated polyester resins and mineral fillers, it offers excellent spreadability, easy sanding and very low porosity. Its low specific weight makes it ideal wherever weight saving is important, especially in nautical and industrial applications, bodywork repairs and fiberglass structures.

Main features

  • Super-light formulation: low specific weight (density approx. 0.86 g/mL) helps avoid adding unnecessary weight to repaired parts.
  • Excellent workability: smooth, pasty texture with very good spreadability for trowel or spatula application.
  • Easy sanding: formulated for good sandability after curing, helping to achieve an even finish.
  • Very low porosity: reduces pinholes and defects, improving the quality of the final painted surface.
  • Strong adhesion on multiple substrates: adheres to galvanized sheet metal, steel, aluminium, light alloys and fiberglass.
  • Versatile use: suitable for fillings, bodywork, nautical and industrial repairs where a light filler is required.
  • Controlled curing: gel time of about 4–6 minutes at 25 °C with the recommended catalyst ratio.
  • Professional/industrial product: intended for use by professional and industrial users.
