Find defects, such as holes in rigging and deep scratches in primer, with the 3M™ Sanding Guide. Our sanding guide detects smaller surface imperfections for dry sanding of primers. It does not require masking before use and there is no drying time after application. During polyester putty sanding, our sanding guide helps ensure that the putty is flat, without irregularities, and that lines and contours are straight and proper. It ensures that the entire primer area is sanded prior to top coating. It is used in both wet and dry sanding. The sanding guide contains no solvents.
