- For bow thruster maintenance, repair damaged areas by carefully abrading with P-180 abrasive paper, wipe the abraded area with thinner and touch up with SEAJET 114 PROPELLER PRIMER, then apply two fresh coats of SEAJET CLEAR COAT.
- SEAJET CLEAR COAT works differently from a traditional antifouling; due to its special film properties it limits the adhesion of fouling rather than releasing biocides.
- SEAJET CLEAR COAT should only be repainted by itself.
- For removal of fouling growth, a light pressure wash or cleaning by hose pipe and sponge is recommended to avoid damaging the coating.
- Due to the presence of silicon compounds, contamination of other areas can result in failure in those areas. Brushes and rollers should therefore be dedicated for use with this product or be discarded after use.
