Intertherm 751CSA has been specially designed to provide a corrosion-resistant barrier when used to protect steel under thermal insulation in areas exposed to wet and dry cycles. Typically applied directly to metal, as a single or two-layer system, Intertherm 751CSA is particularly effective in maintenance situations when used to mitigate the damaging effects of corrosion under insulation (CBA). Intertherm 751CSA provides excellent resistance to 'thermal shock' experienced during rapid temperature cycling, and provides effective protection to steel operating under cyclic conditions. Suitable for application on hot surfaces operating in high-temperature service up to 150ºC (302ºF). Ideally suitable for use in chemical processes, offshore productions, petrochemical and power industry, especially refining and processing units, pipelines, chimneys, tanks, burners, exhausts, furnaces, reactor exteriors, power plants, fans and other structures. Significant quantities of insulated or non-insulated steel can be painted to a unique specification, thus reducing its complexity and facilitating the development of maintenance programs, etc.
